President's Day Cup: Another Valiant Effort By Spirit U12 Boys

Another Gutsy Performance By The Spirit U12 Boys In The President's Cup Tournament

After a week of no practice because of inclement weather, the Spirit U12 Boys Soccer Team for Tampa Bay again displayed another determined effort in the President's Cup Tournament.

A few unlucky bounces of the ball in the first and third matchs led to an overall record of 1 win, 1 draw and 1 lost for the tournament. This is a case where the results does not truly reflect the closeness of the games.

Here are a few pictures of our boys in action.
Video Highlights below the pictures.
GO SPIRIT..!!!

USA League: Spirit Boys U12 Finished Second

Spirit of Tampa U12 Boys Finish Second In The USA League

Spirit of Tampa Bay Boys U12 finished second in the United Soccer Association (USA) league as the table shows above.

With some exciting new additions to our existing roster the Spirit of Tampa Bay U12 boys started the season with renewed enthusiasm. It was not smooth sailing by any means but our determined Spirit Boys forth every step of the way and never gave up.

With the help of your new assistant coach Roen Morgan, our technical coach Ogi and of course our head coach Brian W Dozark our Spirit Boys made great strides this year both technically and  conceptually. Well done coaches!!

But probably the most important thing is that they had FUN and created some great and long-lasting friendships along the way.

A special thanks to all the parents for their dedication and commitment to making sure the boys attend  practice and all the games.

Now off to the tournament side of the 2012-13 season!!
